Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce Announces Annual Awards:

Nomination Period Open Ottawa, Ohio – January 23, 2025 –

 The Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the opening of nominations for its highly anticipated Annual Awards. This year, the Chamber will honor outstanding individuals, businesses, and organizations in the community with four prestigious awards:

4 Under 40 Award

Rising Star Business Award

Community Hero Award

Business of the Year Award

The nomination period is open now through March 14, 2025, offering the community an opportunity to recognize and celebrate excellence and leadership in Ottawa.

Award Descriptions and Criteria Each award highlights unique contributions and achievements:

4 Under 40 Award: Celebrates young professionals under the age of 40 who demonstrate outstanding leadership, professional excellence, and community impact. The nominee must have been 18-39 on December 31, 2024. The individual must reside in Putnam County.

Rising Star Business Award: Recognizes a business that has shown exceptional growth, innovation, and promise within its first five years of operation. This business must have been an active member of the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce during 2024.

Community Hero Award: Honors an individual, group, or organization that has made significant contributions to the Ottawa community through service, advocacy, or philanthropic efforts. This individual must reside in Putnam County

Business of the Year Award: Highlights an established business that has shown outstanding achievement, leadership, and dedication to the betterment of the Ottawa area.
