Ottawa Farmers Market Opening Sat., May 19

The Ottawa Farmers Market opens Saturday, May 19!  The market will be in the municipal parking lot on the corner of Main and Oak Streets in downtown Ottawa from 8:30 - Noon every Saturday until Oct. 6.

Come enjoy the season's best bounty of fresh fruits and vegetables, cupcakes, cookies, pies, breads, jams, jellies, herbs, honey, pesto, kettle corn, all-natural soaps and lotions and specialty products as well as plants, flowers, perennials, garden art, water fountains, bird houses and more. New items arriving weekly !

The Putnam County Master Gardeners are planning a series of educational programs and children's activities throughout the season,  follow Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce on FACEBOOK for the most up-to-date information about what's happening at the Farmers Market !

Vendors are always welcome, please reserve a space by calling the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce at 419-523-5951.  Items offered at the market must be locally grown or produced in Putnam County, or a within a 50-mile radius of Ottawa. Rules and rgulations provided by the Putnam County Health Department must be followed at all time.

Putnam County Fair Fast Approaching

More Excitement than EVER - well describes the 2012 Putnam County Fair to run June 18-23. Entertainment is scheduled all over the fairgrounds.

A parade will kick off the event beginning at 7:00 on Sat., June 16.
