 The Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce was established before 1950 by a small number of progressive business leaders. It has steadily grown now to 260 members. The Chamber's goal is to provide resources, referrals and promotional opportunities to its membership.
The Ottawa Ohio Area Chamber of Commerce membership is a diverse mix of businesses, organizations, services, and industries. The Chamber has been effective in providing a growing list of member services. Some of these services include networking opportunities, economic development, information resources, events promotion, participation in social activities, and member business referrals. In addition, the Chamber offers value added benefits such as a group health plan, group rating for worker’s compensation, and a natural gas energy program.
The Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce strives to make every effort to be of service to business organizations already here and to improve the health, culture and welfare of our chamber community. The Chamber works to be a leading force in promoting growth, prosperity and quality of life in our area, working and keeping in contact with all facets of the community.
